Restoril

Restoril is a benzodiazepine (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peen). Temazepam alters the chemical balance in the brain which may cause imbalance in patients with insomnia (insomnia). Restoril is a medication used for treating sleeplessness (trouble in falling asleep or remaining awake). Restoril acts by slowing the central nervous system (brain) and causing the patient to get to sleep.
